Visiting a campus in Hanoi

I feel the greatest gift I have been given is the kindness with which people let me into their lives. Down by the lake, one afternoon in Hanoi, I met Thao. A quick chat let to a 10-kilometre walk around the city. We talked about education in Vietnam, her childhood days in a nearby town, travelling, long-distance love etc. Thao invited me to come by to her campus later in the night. We tried super cheap food and listened to a band made up of fellow university students.
