The kingdom of noise

One suggestion I always have for people travelling to South Asia or the fast-developing countries in South East Asia is to check the review website for any mention of nearby constructions when you book a hotel. Cities in Vietnam, India, Burma, Indonesia and Cambodia are always under construction, and the crew often ignores curfew hours. Besides that, if you are going to be spending any time travelling in this region, perhaps the most valuable gadget is a pair of noise cancellation headphones. My new favourite is the Sony WH-1000XM3. This device has saved my sanity not only in planes and trains but also cities with loudspeakers blaring or indoor spaces with loud music.

Thanks Sony for moving to USB C. The charge lasts for 25+ hours.
