The taste? I couldn’t tell you, but apparently as bad as it smells, that is, bitter and pungent. The texture, crunchy on the outside and just ever so slightly gooey on the inside…

Thanks,, lemme know if you guys want to try… I know the only secret place in sg where you can get it. Clare, it is not too bad actually. Like all such food, this dish is also supposed to be good for health.

I was sitting on a bench waiting for a bus in Seoul last month when my wife brought me a tasty tidbit from a street vendor. Two young local girls were also seated there devouring a cup full of newly french-fried bundegi. That’s what my wife had brought me…a bundegi on a toothpick! Being an adventurous soul, I gave it a try…it tasted like … hard to say. Not very good but crunchy. It took 6 mints and 20 minutes to get the taste out of my mouth.

The young girls thought it was hysterical that some non-Korean would try to eat such a thing. Never again!

I’m commenting live from a korean joint on third in between catalina and berendo. I almost ordered bundegi. The waitress said ‘it like butterfly baby’. Very cute how she said it. I had to google it on my phone and I found this. Dodged a bullet. Thanks!
