i actually felt the earthquake while still in bed sunday morning. there was a distinct oscillating and i felt at least two separate oscillations.
The good thing about this disaster is that it has not happened on land. If it did, then the geography of the placve where it would have occured would have been altered, not to mention the humongous death toll due to buildings, cave ins etc.

Saturday’s morning in Bangkok had a bad signal; Thick cloudy very thick…and my friend who was travel in Chiang Mai, Can felt the earthquake.
