After a few beers
I was at the museum attending a talk. Next to the museum is Singapore’s old parliament. It is the oldest government building in Singapore. They recently renovated the museum to an arts performance and exhibition centre. It was the day before the actual inauguration. Some of the artists were rehearsing the opening ceremony. They asked me if I would mind being one of the audiences for the rehearsal. Well, why not. After the song and dance they invited us inside the building. I have not seen the parliament house before, but I think it is a nice building for Art exhibition and performance. Lovely girls were handing out Tiger beers. One of the guys next to me commented “Nice to see beer companies support artâ€. I replied “Well, after four beers everything seems like art to me.â€

Arlene,
That large bow tie is for the opening ceremony. They will untie it and declare the building open.
