16 Feb 04 Lovely toys

I was in the sleepy little town of Huanglongxi in Sichuan province of China. One of the street vendors had set out this game. I tried but could not get even a single ring around the lovely toys, while the local kids laughed at my “foolish” throws. I plan to practice at home and return soon.

   Hi! Nice to see so many nice places here. Do you have more information or pictures about this little town? It’s said there are many ancient buildings, which were built during the Qing and Ming dynasties in Chinese history, right?

   Hello Arlene,

   I recall a friend of mine telling me that you find this place while driving to Jiu Zai Guo. Yes, indeed it has some lovely old building. I will put up some more pictures later. You may go to this town from Chengdu, it is not very far from there.
