Yangon Barcamp 2010

Yes, big thanks to the folks in Yangon. Had a great time at the Barcamp Yangon 2010, held on 23rd and 24th January at the Myanmar info-tech campus in Yangon.

The participants were very active posting topics on networking, software development and Myanmar language computing

 A talk on OpenOffice

Most sessions ran packed with many standing.

Most sessions ran packed. Several thousand survey forms were returned over the two days.

It was nice to see so many confident presenters talking about a wide variety of tech topics. Here is an young Myanmar blogger who blogs both in English and local language

And the local organisers and the volunteers did a great job keeping the event running smoothly.
